I worked on this house in 2 phases, the first done 7-8 years ago was to modify the master bedroom suite and kitchen, mostly all interior work. The second phase (award winning), completed last fall, nearly doubled the size of the house taking what was a very asymmetrical ranch and transforming it into a very balanced, symmetrical massing. The exterior lines and very simple and elegant detailing understate the massing in relationship to the lot size, and to maintain the project's modest appearance. There were very significant modifications inside, leaving in place the spaces we renovated the last time but every other room was changed. The project is more contemporary which tends to be the style of the home, Please note the careful integration of the old and new and the integrity of the design and discipline of thought behind the work overall.
